Gabriella White

A.R.C.H.Y or Architecture Reaching Communities Helping to Inspire Youth

Gabriella White is a Social Entrepreneur, STEAM activist, and the founder and CEO of ARCHY. Gabriella founded ARCHY to disrupt the status quo and create more diversity in the Architecture, STEAM and Design fields. As a STEAM Squad member, she hosts ARCHY workshops in schools, summer camps, and Microsoft to provide kids a glimpse of these career fields and show them that these careers are available to them too. Gabriella has been awarded a number of honors awards, and features including 2018 Oui Stem Academy Outstanding Achievement Award in 2018, a feature on Linked In by Future Stem Gems, and a feature on ABC local First Coast News in 2018.

She was also a featured workshop facilitator at CRC Foundation Youth Camp at Microsoft, in Jacksonville, Florida and speaker at the 2018 Black Interior Designer’s Network Conference. Featured speaker at 10th Annual $MART Women Make Change event hosted by Junior Achievement of North Florida, Florida, featured youth speaker at the third annual Wonder Women Tech Conference in Long Beach, CA., and featured speaker at the 2018 Southern Women’s Show in Jacksonville, Florida.

She is the 2019 Youth Game changer Award recipient for JAX Pal and grant recipient. Gabriella is the 2019 Generation W /United Way of NE Florida youth Gabriella was a featured blog spotlight for Raising Smart Girls, Her Stem Story, and CBS Fox 30 for Black History Month for February 2019.​ During 2019 Black history month she was a featured speaker at Deutsch Bank for its Black to the future -panel. During 2019 Gabriella was elected as a Chief Science Officer or CSO part of Sci- Tech Institute and the National Science Foundation for her school River City Science Academy. In October 2019, Gabriella was a featured speaker for York County Maine Maker Faire in Maine. In January 2020 Gabriella was the keynote for Terrace Towne architecture conference in Madison Wi, where she presented for well over 1700 elementary students. In March 2020, Gabriella received a resolution from the City of Jacksonville ​Councilman Terrance Freeman​ for her work in her community. In April 2020, After Covid- 19 hit our nation, Gabriella hosted a Go Fund Me to raise funds with Rethreaded Inc. to create over 100 life saving masks for the Mental Health Resource Center. During 2019 and July 2020, Gabriella attended the AIA American Institute of Architect Miami chapter’s Black Architects in the Making Summer program receiving the Sustainable Community Warriors Recognition Certificate. In August of 2020,Gabriella was honored to be listed as 18 under 18 in Folio Magazine for Youth Impacting the community.

Gabriella is a youth board member for Simone Inspires a local Jacksonville nonprofit founded by her gal pal Simone Bridges. Gabby is also on the ETRE’s Girls board an international Stem advocacy featuring girls around the world. In 2019 she was featured in ETRE the book Who Do You Want to be? She is also a member of the STEAM Squad, an international Steam girls club that features girls around the world advocating for Stem / STEAM. Gabriella is a youth member of the NAACP Jacksonville chapter.

Gabriella is a Duke University TIP student; currently she is attending an Artificial Intelligence course. Gabriella’s future plans include the launch of a t-shirt line to under-right the cost of her classroom workshops. An advocate for Black Lives Matter movement Gabriella looks to lend her voice to speak out about the injustice Black teens face.

Recently, Gabriella served in Greenworks summer apprenticeship program where she learned about protecting the environment and landscape design. Gabriella was selected among many candidates to participate in the State of Florida Senate page program. She will serve in 2022.

As Gabriella learns, and mentors to learn architecture and design she has had the opportunity to speak with successful female CEOs like Tiffany Brooks of HGTV/OWN, Casey Kelley CEO of Blended Designs, and Tracey Friley Architect with Haskell.
